Synopsis: On the verge of sleep, two young sisters find themselves facing the fear of war. Imaginary characters come to their aid: a turtle, a spiky hedgehog, a missile, and a tooth fairy that doesn’t really exist. Their mother does everything in her power to stop their loss of innocence but discovers that the task is more difficult than she imagined.
Submitter Statement: This is a film about parenting during wartime, inspired on real questions my daughters asked me during the war.
Like any child, they tried to understand the new reality that was imposed on them after the 7.10 massacre. Their questions were innocent and at the same time so painful.
This film offers a poignant glimpse into the realities of war through the perspectives of two young girls, shedding light on the dilemmas faced by every parent in this situation.
This is my debut film.
