Fábio Bardella lives in São Paulo and works as a director, photographer, and audiovisual editor. He develops work focusing on documentaries and experiences between the documentary and fictional borders, in addition to recently beginning a serious relationship with the visual arts. Directorial debut with the short documentary “Estação Bahia” (2012, doc, 23rd Curta Cinema, Best Short at FIIK, among others). He directed the feature films “Osvaldão” (2014, doc, Mostra Internacional de São Paulo, Sesc Melhores Filmes Award) and “Através” (2015, fic, 41st Huleva Festival, 48th Festival de Brasília, Fest. Latino Americano), both features entered the commercial circuit in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Brasilia, BH and other capitals. His latest work as a director is “Armazém do Limoeiro” (2017, doc, Best Short MUVI Lisboa, CINEOP). He directed numerous documentary films and advertising campaigns for the Internet and TV for clients such as Globo, Itaú, Mercedes-Benz, São Paulo City Hall, Ministry of Health, UNE, Hospital Sírio Libanês, among others.
