Helena Águeda Marujo

Helena has a PhD in Psychology (Psychotherapy and Educational Counseling) from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon.
She is currently an Associate Professor at the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) at the University of Lisbon, where she holds the position of Coordinator of the UNESCO Chair in Education for Sustainable Global Peace.
She was Deputy Coordinator of the Coordination Unit for Human Resources Development Policies and the Master’s and Doctorate Program in Human Resources Development Policies and also serves as Executive Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Applied Positive Psychology.
She co-created, coordinated, and taught the Postgraduate Course in Education for Sustainable Global Peace.
She is an integrated researcher at the Center for Administration and Public Policies (CAPP, University of Lisbon) and created and coordinated a Mission Unit at ISCSP – ISCSP-Wellbeing, which received the Caixa Geral Social Intervention Award for two consecutive years (2018 and 2019). de Depósitos / ISCSP-ULisboa, a merit award for practices that promote internal well-being and peace.
She has more than 60 scientific publications, including the authorship of eight books. His most recent publications, in Portuguese, and co-authored, are the book “Humanizar as Organizações: Novos Sentidos para a Gestão de Pessoas” (2019) from Editora RH and, from Editora Pactor/ISCSP, the book “Educação para a Sustainable Global Peace: Complexities and Contributions.” (2022). In 2013 she published the book “Positive Nations and Communities” in Springer.
She is part of the team of the international research project “Barómetro da Esperança”, having participated in the book “Hope Across Cultures” (2023), also published in Springer.
She has taught at more than 25 universities on 4 continents.
She was nominated for the 2016 Human Resources Management Awards and the 2017 Outstanding Practitioner Award from the International Positive Psychology Association. She received three awards in the area of Peace (In 2019 she was awarded the Peace Ambassador Award by Peace Run, in 2021 she was awarded the Ambassador Award by the Universal Peace Foundation and in 2023 Peace Ambassador by the Friends for Peace Organization). She received an ISCSP/CAPP research award in 2021.
She is a member of the Council of Advisors of the International Positive Psychology Association, the European Network of Positive Psychology, an Associate of the Taos Institute, a Member of the Medical Advisory Board of Make-A-Wish International, an Anti-Corruption Ambassador (2023) and a member of the Council of Wise Men of the Portuguese Matrix.

PhD in Anthropology (Policies and Images of Culture and Museology), Master in Museology and heritage, graduated in anthropology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa – FCSH.
Anthropologist/museologist at Museus e Monumentos de Portugal, E.P.E. Programmed and directed the Ourém Municipal Museum (Portuguese Museum Network). Head of the cultural action division at Ourém Municipal Council, of the cultural action division (2009-2019), museums and tourism at Leiria Municipal Council (2019-2020) and of the movable and intangible heritage division at the General Directorate for Cultural Heritage (2022-2023), representing Portugal at various international organisations in the field of cultural heritage (e.g. Steering Committee of the Council of Europe’s Extended Partial Agreement on Cultural Itineraries).
Researcher at CRIA (Research Network Center in Anthropology), with research on identity, intangible cultural heritage, museums, popular architecture, rurality and emigration. Conducted studies and participated in heritage enhancement projects in Portugal and in France. Regular participation in curating and evaluating cultural projects, as a lecturer and jury member in academic courses in the fields of cultural heritage and museology.
Teresa Pacheco Albino

Teresa Pacheco Albino works in the areas of museum accreditation, intangible heritage and exhibition production at public company Museums of Portugal.
From 2020 to 2022 was coordinator of the National Museum Resistance and Freedom/Fortress of Peniche and head of the Division of Immovable, Movable and Intangible Heritage of the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage.
She has a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Master’s in Intercultural Relations. She began her professional career at the National Museum of Ethnology between 1989 and 2005.
From 2005 to 2013 she worked for the Institute for Tropical Scientific Research.

Marcia Vilarigues

Vilarigues works in the field of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage in the area of Technical Art History and Materials Degradation. Her research motivation focus on the preservation of our material cultural history and on enriching the knowledge of our shared past through the history of historical objects. Since 2011, she is the Director of the Research Unit VICARTE (Vidro e Cerâmica para as Artes: Glass and Ceramic for the Arts, www.vicarte.org). VICARTE is devoted to trans-disciplinary research applied to glass and ceramics, focusing on where art and science intersect, and stimulating the sharing of knowledge, experiences and methodologies. She is also the coordinator of the Master in Glass Art and Science, a two-year course of study that leads students through both the scientific and artistic aspects of what makes glass the special state of matter that it is, and simultaneously offers students time, space, tools and experience in most traditional and innovative glassmaking techniques. Currently, at the national level she is regarded as a leader in research for historic glass and stained glass, and my work is recognized by the scientific community worldwide.

José J. G. Moura – Professor Chemistry, FCT NOVA, Bioinorganic Chemistry. In the past, Research Specialist at UMinnesota (US) and Adjunct Professor at UGeorgia, Athens (US). Research interest in Bioinorganic Chemistry/Role of Metal Ions in Biology. Past President of Chemistry Dept and past President of Scientific Council at FCT, Portuguese Delegate to COST and INTAS, member of Scientific Panels (FCG, FCT-MCTES, NSF (US) and of several editorial boards. President of the Society of Biological Inorganic Chemistry for 2 years(2010). Member of Academia das Ciências and European Academy of Sciences. Director of FCT, CampusLibrary, promoting Culture / Art / Scientific interfaces and coordinates the FCT-Fab Lab. In 2002, received the Ferreira da Silva Award from the Portuguese Society of Chemistry.

Fernando Quintas

Pintor e Professor Auxiliar da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Possui uma licenciatura e doutoramento em Pintura pela FBAUL, especializando-se em Vidro e Vitral. Desde 1991 tem participado em várias exposições coletivas e individuais, tendo recebido prémios e distinções em pintura e desenho. Participou, em Portugal e no exterior, em diversos workshops sobre a arte do vidro, tendo apresentado os resultados das suas experiencias de investigação, letivas e artísticas, em palestras e conferências em Portugal, França, Itália, Alemanha, Reino Unido Grécia e Tunísia. É um dos membros fundadores da Unidade de Investigação Vicarte “Vidro e Cerâmica para as Artes” (www.vicarte.org) e foi presidente da APV, Associação Portuguesa do Vidro, de 2006 a 2009. Concebeu e realizou a escultura-troféu do prémio APOM (Associação Portuguesa de Museologia) 2017, 2018 e 2019. Frequentou a licenciatura em arquitectura da Universidade Lusíada (Lisboa) entre 1996 e 2000.
