Heritales @ Cidade Preocupda

On Friday the 26th of June Heritales will be present at the Art festival Cidade Preocupada in Montemor-O-Novo, Portugal. Come and join us for a magical night in this typical town of Alentejo rich in culture and art. We are partnering with Oficinas do Convento, a well-established project that aims to support and promote local and International artists. Please read more about the program here. Heritales @ The National Museum of Coches – Lisbon – Portugal (18th – 19th of May 2024)

The International Day and Night of Museums

On the International Day and Night of the Museums, Heritales will be screening four amazing documentaries and a collection of animation shorts from the past editions of the festival.

Starting with Talia from the producing house Cativa followed by the documentary Hard Question from João Meirinhos, an incredible Lisbon-based director and poet.
After the Saturday evening session, there will be a debate with the directors of the documentary “Meraki” , an Ocean and Flow Production investigating the protection of the cultural world and the natural world, as ecological and social elements linked to peace and sustainability.
On Saturday afternoon at the official market fair, you can experience a workshop with Maria Zozaya on the project Crowd Recycling

Heritales @ Bota Rasa – Évora – Portugal (18th of Abril 2024)

The resilience of associations: Heritales promotes the day of monuments and sites at Sociedade União Eborense, DIMS 2024

The associations were essential spaces for fostering relationships of sociability and fraternity and for building pathways for social and political negotiation (between progressive and conservative groups). All of them played an essential role in Portuguese society in the 19th and 20th centuries, both for the achievement of rights and for the promotion of personal, supportive and fraternal relationships. In the 21st century, these places of collectivity, whose forms of solidarity helped a large part of the community, are disappearing.

The risk of disappearing, together with the capacity for associative resilience in Portugal, will be the theme of the debate associated with Monuments and Sites Day, which will follow the screening of the documentary OS HERITAGES OF SOCIABILITY, I As associations in Évora, directed by Maria Zozaya and produced by CIDEHUS, which you can see below:
