Synopsis: In a humble neighborhood, a little girl dreams aloud, sharing her heartfelt aspirations and yearnings for a brighter future.

Submitter Statement:  Creating “If Only,” an animated documentary, was a profoundly moving journey. We engaged with children from underprivileged neighborhoods, and their grand dreams amidst limited means sparked our inspiration. In our film, we blend the harsh truths of their reality with the realm of imagination, preserving the pure voices of childhood within a whimsical tapestry. This is because such voices deserve to echo in a world far more enchanting than our own.

The heroes exist

Synopsis: Celebrating 5 years of the Só Charge Boa editorial, on the Só Notícia Boa portal, cartoonist Arisson Tavares presents the short film “The heroes exist”, which brings a message of peace and love to the world.

With the techonology and advancements, life has become increasingly fast-paced and stressful. “Find Your Rhythm” aims to raise awareness of the importance of taking a moment to find our rhythm and reconnect with nature through a symbolic mythical story.

We often long for a simpler time, when we were more connected to nature.
But the truth is, we don’t need to go back in time to reconnect with nature.
We can do it right now, in the present moment

It can be meditaion,a walk in the park, and being surrounded with plants or even enjoying a cup of coffee in your balcony,

Even so, a light pulses within these people and their movement is what gives strength to a projection of the future. A light that runs through the streets, invades houses and announces a future through light.”

Graffiti com Pipoca

O Coletivo Graffiti com Pipoca é composto por diversas pessoas de diferentes regiões, gêneros e cores, todas elas militantes e produtores de arte e cultura, cada qual em sua individualidade, ou seja, somos produtores, design gráfico, animadores , fotógrafos, editores, roteiristas, grafiteiros, músicos…enfim quando junta todo mundo somos um desenho animado. O coletivo iniciou os trabalhos no ano de 2004 realizando produções de desenhos animados com a técnica do graffiti, além de promover oficinas de desenho animado, graffiti, vídeo e organizar diversos encontros de graffiti, realizar cinema em ruas, escolas e praças.

De 2004 até 2016 todos os anos foram produzidas algumas animações e em 2013 nós ganhamos o Festival Anima Mundi e o Prêmio BNDES como a melhor animação eleita pelo público. Em 2018 ganhamos o festival do minuto dentre outros já que o que nos motiva é a produção de conteúdo e a formação de pessoas.

Em 2008 até 2010 o coletivo fez uma parceria com o JAMAC e realizou durante dois anos oficinas de desenho animado aberta e gratuita para os moradores do Jardim Miriam, onde foram capacitados muitos jovens que hoje atuam na área do audiovisual.

Em 2016 foi realizada a nossa última animação chamada o Fim é o Começo, quando o coletivo não deixou de existir mas os integrantes passaram a desenvolver projetos próprios e interligados, porém todos eles de cunho sócioambiental e mantendo e aumentando as redes de relacionamento e desenvolvimento. Transformamos um sonho, uma vontade numa forma de viver de arte e educação e o que pudemos presenciar que são elementos
altamente transformadores.

Desde 2022 realizamos ativações e projetos, para a produção de mais uma nova animação no Projeto Cidade da Luz, com fotografia light painting que retrata a busca pela descoberta da luz em uma cidade semifictícia de São Paulo. A Jornada da Luz “é uma ode à criatividade, à colaboração e à capacidade humana de transformar o comum em algo extraordinário. É uma celebração da imaginação que ilumina nossas almas e nos guia rumo a um mundo de possibilidades infinitas”.

The International Day and Night of Museums

On the International Day and Night of the Museums, Heritales will be screening four amazing documentaries and a collection of animation shorts from the past editions of the festival.

Starting with Talia from the producing house Cativa followed by the documentary Hard Question from João Meirinhos, an incredible Lisbon-based director and poet.
After the Saturday evening session, there will be a debate with the directors of the documentary “Meraki” , an Ocean and Flow Production investigating the protection of the cultural world and the natural world, as ecological and social elements linked to peace and sustainability.
On Saturday afternoon at the official market fair, you can experience a workshop with Maria Zozaya on the project Crowd Recycling

Heritales in the NEI European Reserchers Night

Selection of the Heritales Heritage Film Festival (2017-2023): sustainability and inclusion in short films and animations (France, Portugal, Iran). The session is made up of the following parts:

I- 22/22h30- 23h30 Screening of the Heritales films and animations in continuous screening blocks.
Activity to take place at night, projection in an outdoor space, on a wall in the Fish Market (Praça 1 de Maio).

II- 23h30-24h00 Debate. Session to raise awareness of the values of social inclusion, cultural diversity, the importance of respect for nature for sustainability and the maintenance of traditional forms of cultural heritage.

The initiative “Cinema no Convento” this year with Cycle – Nature – in Cinematic Magical realism
a proposal of the Resource Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage – PCI, started in 2019 by the Resource Center of the PCI with the collaboration of the International Heritage Film Festival – “HERITALES” with the aim of raising awareness the space and work of the Resource Center as well as its content developed in cinema.
It is the articulation between the work developed by the PCI Resource Center and the Cultural Animation that gives meaning to the objective of the Center that does not exist without the direct involvement of the population.
Cinema no Convento`22, aims to show the cinematographic perspective of traditional tales, as well as to bring the population closer to the PCI Resource Center space and its work.
